KOALAGATE / A LITTLE CLARITY

Privacy Policy

A closer look at your information.

Last updated

Your choices matter when you use KoalaGate VPN. This policy explains how information supports a connection or a conversation with support, and where to turn if you want to ask about your privacy.

Opening a connection

KoalaGate VPN uses Android VpnService, which requires your approval through Android's VPN authorization prompt. Network traffic, IP addresses and connection state are processed as needed to set up the connection, route traffic and keep it operating.

Asking for a hand

If you contact support, the information you choose to send helps explain your concern and prepare a reply. Include only relevant details. Please leave passwords and unrelated sensitive information out of your messages.

Working with providers

Providers responsible for infrastructure or support may handle information needed for those tasks. Information may also be shared to fulfil applicable legal duties or respond to a legally binding demand.

Looking after information

Retention depends on the reason information is handled, the operational or support work involved and legal requirements. Reasonable safeguards are applied, but no connection or storage system can be guaranteed free from security risks.

Choosing what happens next

You can disconnect and withdraw VPN authorization through Android settings. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion of personal information, or object to processing. Send privacy questions and requests through the developer contact details in KoalaGate VPN's app store listing.
